When is it appropriate to move in with your bf/gf

In your opinion, when do you think it is okay to live with you boyfriend or girlfriend?

Whenever you feel comfortable. I moved in with my boyfriend about 3-4 months into the relationship.

You truly don’t know someone til you’ve spent months - years of sleeping over and getting to know their home habits. Best judge of character and you still get to keep your own place.
Plus moving sucks... I dunno why anyone would wanna move in early upon knowing someone and their chances of moving out later are higher... wait until you’re 100%. That’s just me xx

I don’t believe in living with someone before marriage. My husband and I got an apartment together. I moved in a week before we got married. He moved in our wedding night. There’s just so many things that can go wrong with. Yes things can still go wrong in a marriage but it’s a lot easier to just break up. We had no issues living together. But I personally say at least a year or more. Make sure you REALLY get to know them. People move in so quick these days then have so many problems. Overall do what feels right. Don’t let anyone tell you one way or the other. Don’t feel pressured either way. Do it when it feels right

For me the answer was never.  I moved in with my husband after we got married.  I just personally don’t believe in it.  I would say in general if I did practice that it should at the very least be a year or two before moving in.

I moved in 1 month after knowing him Nd ended up leaving like 9 months later.. now I’m back and forth.. so there’s no perfect time.. but u get to really kno a person when you live with them..

People say “when you know you just know” and it drives me nuts because that could two days 😑 
I’ve been in a relationship for going on five years and though we know each other really well (to the point that I knew he was going to propose) we’re still changing and adapting. 
We didn’t move in together until we’d been dating for over a year. The best choice we’ve ever made as a couple was to Take Our Time.

We moved in after dating long distance for 6 months. We only saw each other maybe a dozen times ahead of the move. We've been together 14 years, married 7. It was a rough first year, not sure how we made it, but I don't regret a thing. Make a pros and cons list together and save it. We still have ours and it cracks us up. 💕
