Type 2 diabetes, insulin and getting pregnant

Can I just say having type 2 diabetes sucks but being put on insulin to get pregnant and have a baby sucks more!

It’s so hard it’s not funny and I just don’t think I my husband appreciates how difficult it is because he still wants to have 3-4 kids. We already have a beautiful 4yo daughter and I had GD with her then it turned into type 2 so that is being 32 isn’t a good combination for having lots more kids. After we first had her I said only 1 more but compromised at trying for a 3rd if we got a second girl but now I’ve told him I’m stopping at 2 no matter what we have because of all these factors and he says I can’t go back on the promise I made 4 years ago! Things would have been different if we started trying again earlier but I can’t keep going now.
