gestational thrombocytopenia

Hi ladies... currently I am 26 weeks pregnant with twin boys. My routine bloodwork showed my blood platelets have decreased and are below the normal range. I started at 174 and currently I’m at 100.

Has anyone dealt with this before and/or dealing with this now? If so, how did this affect your labor and delivery plans? Did it make recovery more difficult? Did you have to have a c section with general anesthesia?

I see my doctor again in two weeks where I can get some more information, but would love to hear first-hand about your experience. Thank you!
