What color?

I just bought this yesterday and am currently refinishing it. The shelves that go on the inside are being painted with Krylon Fusion Satin Sea Glass. Would a dark blue look good for the rest of the wall unit?

I dont think blue goes well. Id do a whitewash. That with sea glass would be soothing.
