How long after having a c section can you have a natural birth ? I’m currently pregnant again and don’t want another c section I had my daughter 8 months ago

It all depends on your doctor, the situation that lead up to you csection, your health, etc. best to talk to your doc.

I’m 8 weeks pregnant and my daughter will be 9 months on the 19th.
My midwife has no concerns about it as there will be 16 months between births, my scar is perfectly healed, and the only reason I had a C-section was due to failure to progress as my daughter was so big (10lbs 3oz).
I’m a prime candidate for a VBAC this time round so long as my baby isn’t as big as my daughter 😊

I'm not sure I was always told once you had a first c section you always had to have them for every kid after because of weakness in the abdomen.

It's best to talk to ur dr, some dr's won't do a natural that soon after c section, some will.. It also depends on the type of incision...  And keep in mind even if your Dr says now, that u can go natural, things can change as due date approaches...  There are so many factors, that u really need to talk to dr....
