For me, yes!! I found out I was pregnant at 5 1/2 weeks and starting about a week later until I was around 12w I had severe cramping in both sides of my lower abdomen. It was AWFUL and made worse by being on top. As I said though, it was normal for me! Not everyone is the same and I think any severe pain should be checked out by a doctor at least. Hope all is well.

If you've orgasmed yes  because this contracts your uterus. Baby is ok. Mine was super uncomfortable but not enough to be in tears

Me and my fiance had sex a few days after I found out I was pregnant and afterwards I got horrible pains. I was laying in the bathroom floor crying because I was in so much pain, I didn't know what to do and I was so scared. But it went after awhile and it never happened again.

It's totally normal for some women. Since I got prego, it's hurt every time I've had sex - just feels like an overabundance of pressure in my groin and is super uncomfortable but I've never had any bleeding and the pain resides over time so I've been assured there's nothing to worry about. You're going to feel all kinds of changes going on inside your body as your uterus continues to grow. Wish I could say it gets better, but it doesn't always. Hang in there!

Happened to me tonight!! But only because I orgasmed. It like takes away my breath but from what I’ve read, a lot of women experience it in early pregnancy. I am going to mentioned it to my doc tomorrow at my appt. I am 4 weeks and 5 days so very close to you.

For me it was absolutely normal. I cried after sex every time and would lay there in pain. I went to the ER for it one time and they said it’s normal and my uterus is just expanding and my body wasn’t used to it. They said to worry once you start bleeding.
