I think my son needs me to work on c d g t l n m sounds 
Before it was Nook= milk now nilk
Tar= car 
datty daddy
Tat =cat
My husbands cousin metioned he might need it cause confuses  how the letters are pronounced
Sometimes its hard to understand him but i love that he finds wordsor sounds to discribe what hes trying to say, so i can understand him.

My son is almost 3 and going through intense speech therapy as he's still not talking. We've been doing speech therapy for almost a year now and we finally have a few words and are starting to work on 2 phrase words. My daughter is 2 and is saying more and making a lot of sounds so we are hoping she starts to talk soon so hopefully it will encourage him a little bit

We do a lot of practicing. For example, she's been getting the hiccups lately and says she has "piccups." We sound out the letters. So we say "h" and then say  "hiccups." Then we go "hic" then say "hiccups". We make sure that she's getting somewhat close to the actual word and we encourage her to try saying the word. Even if she says it wrong.

If your kiddo is still under 3 and you live in the US, you can call your local birth to 3 program for a free consult. They will ask you questions as well as working directly with your child to see if the services are needed. Once they turn 3, your local school district takes over and will offer services through the school if needed. My son had chronic ear infections so he wasn’t even talking much at 2. He’s been seeing a speech therapist once a week since August and his speech has improved a lot, mostly on his own. It never hurts to call and have your child evaluated if you are worried. From what you’re explaining, it sounds pretty normal. My son calls milk=merk  water=otter diaper=dider and a few others that are pretty interesting sounding still lol.

My girl still says a few letters incorrectly. 
Eg yellow is ‘nano’
It’s totally normal. He’ll figure it out eventually, it’s just practice and time. 
If you want, get his hearing checked just to be sure he isn’t hearing the letters wrong.
