Equal issues?
I had someone debate with me that the R Kelly scandal and the government shutdown are on equal playing fields, and both deserve equal discussion. Do they??? I feel like an issue that is affecting hundreds of thousands of Americans is far more important than a celebrity who, let’s be honest, has been a predator for years.
And to be clear, I’m not diminishing his victims’ plight. I’m just saying that the two subjects are in no way equal nor do they merit the same devotion of time. Thoughts?
