So I’m trying everything to feel sexy again. What made you ladies feel more comfortable and confident postpartum?

It can be so tough right after giving birth! I remember being super hormonal and being utterly traumatized from my unplanned c-section, blood loss, anemia, iron deficiency...I felt ugly, scarred and destroyed...like I was trapped in a body that wasn't mine.
My advice is just be kind to yourself and be patient! It takes nine months to grow your miracle, it will take time to heal! You MADE a human!! How cool is that! Your body pulled of sth unbelievable! You are a SUPER HERO! Never forget that! After about 6 weeks you can help your body with light excercises to close the diastasis recti (the gap between your stomach muscles) which will help your pelvic floor, your organs, your center of gravity. In Germany our health care pays for specific gymnastics classes with a midwife post partum...I don't know if you have that in the states. But may be you could ask your ob gyn about suitable excercises, or watch a YouTube video by a qualified instructor. And give yourself the time you need. Pamper not only baby but also yourself. You will start to feel like yourself again eventually! Sending you lots of love xxx
