1 yr old won’t drink whole milk

So I have to wean because I have to have an eye surgery at the end of February. I have really enjoyed nursing and I’m really sad we have to stop so we are taking it slow. The issue is that my daughter will take sips of milk but really prefers water. Any tips or tricks on how to get her to drink milk?
