Did/does your spouse go to all of your IVF appts?

IVF appts?" /> 
I’m not talking about routine labs and ultrasound. But the first nurse consult (calendar and instructions), baseline...my husband would definitely go but he is so busy with work that I don’t want to take him away from that. Obviously he will go to retrieval and transfer. I would love one advice when It comes to appts. Thanks!

He goes to all of the important ones first consult, egg retrieval, transfer. He will go to the other ones if work allows/if I ask him, but it’s really not necessary for us both to go when it’s just ultrasounds and such.

My husband goes to all of my appointments, our clinic is 2 hours away and we make appointments when convenient for both of us.

My husband comes to everything besides my bloodwork / ultrasound monitoring appts (leading up to ER + FET.). We had our retrieval in November and we are having our FET on January 31st.  He will come to the appts after the FET too.

My husband came to first initial consultation for ivf, I needed a second set of ears. The only other appointments he went to were the retrieval’s and transfers. ultrasounds and bloodwork were early morning and would go straight to work.

If we are meeting with the Dr or nurse and talking about "the plan" he comes. I want to make sure he hears the same information I hear and we make decisions together. But yeah, ultrasound and monitoring nope. Although I do wish he was there for the hsg because that was very painful for me and honestly I could have used a ride home, every bump I hit was like being stabbed!

So far mine has only gone to one and it was because we had to sign all the paperwork. He has to go to the next one tomorrow because they are walking us through retrieval protocol. 
Then he’ll be my driver for retrieval of course.

Good question, following! We have our first appointment in February and I’m not sure he will be able to do every appointment due to his work schedule.
