Back pain

How long does it take the body to get use to not being pregnant? My back has been killing me ever since I had my daughter a FULL MONTH ago. I had an emergency c section and ended up only getting 75% of the spinal shot. Yeah I felt everything. And when the needle was going into my back I had this tingling sensation go all the way down on just the right side. Since then I have been in pain to the point of having to take ibuprofen more than once a day everyday. Some days It is all I can do to just stand up in one spot while changing her diaper and most of the time laying down does not even help either. I guess my question is, is this normal?
