Bad swelling on one side of face after wisdom tooth extraction

I got my top 2 wisdom teeth removed last week. The right side of my face is perfectly fine, no pain and no swelling whatsoever. But the left side of my face is just as swollen as when I got it done, and I'm having sharp shooting pains in that cheek.

My post op appointment is in 2 days, but I'm just wondering if I should try to get it moved up or just wait it out? Is this normal?
