Our sweet boy had his pyloric stenosis repair done yesterday morning and is finally on the road to recovery! I can’t wait to be able to feed him without having to worry about him projectile vomiting everywhere.

Note to moms everywhere: trust your gut even if no one else believes you! My husband and I had to work hard to convince our pediatricians that this is what the issue was. They kept saying it was a laundry problem, not a baby problem. It took 3 days of constant vomiting and a 4 oz weight loss over 2 days for them to believe us and get him tested. Poor boy was so dehydrated that it took 48 hours of fluids to get him prepared for surgery.
