So, I made a post a while back about my coworker being pregnant, scheduling herself the most hours, then not working them and calling out and having no regard for everyone else’s time and plans, and get angry when we won’t come in for her when we weren’t scheduled.

Okay, this has been going on for 3 months. I’ve looked for other jobs and I recently came into a small fortune (enough to put me through 2 years of schooling for my dream career) and I wouldn’t have to work, though I would pick up a part time job for the extra money support.

Yesterday I broke the news to her, and I said I would work out a two week notice and everything but after that I’m gone. She got very angry with me because I wouldn’t share the money with her (I didn’t tell her how much) and said she would share with me if it were her money etc... now, this girl is married with a husband and has her MIL paying for her insurance, house, basically everything. But she has awful spending habits so she owes a lot on her credit card and always complains about having no money.

I feel really guilty about leaving when she’s pregnant but I can’t deal with her anymore... she kept on trying to guilt me into staying but I told her no. She then said to not worry about working a two week, she never wants to see me again, so I just left lol.

But I just wanted to share my toxic coworker story and tell you all how amazing it feels to not be anchored down by this person for so long. I feel free.
