When my friends have shared their business pages with me, I've like them without question. That is their jobs and livelihoods, after all.

Now I've started a new job and I created a Facebook page for the business. I shared with all my friends and family but it's pretty much only my family that liked the page. I feel a bit annoyed because I feel it's professional curtesy to follow back (especially when my profile even states my position and job name).

Am I being a bit dramatic?

*No, not anything like that. It's for an actual legit company that just didn't see the need for an online presence before. They don't even have a proper website yet.
