Contractions?

FTM I’m having cramps and my stomach keeps tightening up. I also feel like I have to poop but when I try I can’t. Is this contractions or what? They aren’t strong enough that I feel like I should go in to the hospital.

Maybe!  The tightness is kind of like Braxton Hicks but the urge to poop but not actually pooping sounds like it could be labor. Start timing them.

Sounds like my labor. I just had my feb baby on Friday and I felt like I had to poop while I was in labor. It drove me crazy because I kept asking to use the bathroom and the nurse told me I probably wasn’t gonna poop and it made me so mad. It got to the point where when I felt like I had to poop my body just started pushing on its own until I could feel my baby’s head between my legs. The staff was rushing to get ready at that point because he was on his way out.
