Will I hear hear beat

Question

I have my first OB appointment a week from today and I will be 9w1d. I had my first appointment to confirm pregnancy at 6w3d and saw the heartbeat. will I be able to hear the heartbeat at my appointment next week?

My doctor no longer listens to heartbeat before 12 weeks because of a recent study that correlated listening to the HB early and miscarriage rates. We could see it, but not hear it. This is new, because she listened to my sons for me 2 years ago when I was 8 weeks.

Heard mine at 6w5d, 8w2d, and 11w. I have a hemorrhage and had to be monitored to make sure it was shrinking. I heard it on Doppler at my 16 week apt and can’t wait until my anatomy scan to see babe again!

Doubtful but possible. My first OB with my older kids first used the doppler at 10w. Current OB with current pregnancy said it was too early to use doppler at 11w and said we would do that at next appointment 14+5w 
I have a home doppler though and have heard baby’s heartbeat since 9w!

Ours let us see the heart beat at our first and second ultrasounds which we’re at 7 and 12 weeks. They didn’t even try to hear the heartbeat until I was 13 weeks

Perhaps. Every office is different but I heard at 9 weeks and a few days.
