Induction without Pain meds?

Question

Got some bad news today, found out I have some test results with signs of preeclampsia... luckily I’m 38 weeks now so worst case at my appointment tomorrow they might send me for an induction which isn’t the end of the world since he’s full term anyway, the only bummer is I’ve always dreamed of a natural, unmedicated birth 😩 
I know it’s still possible to go without the pain meds even if I’m induced but I hear it’ll hurt even worse! 
Has anyone had any experience with this?

Being induced FUCKING HURTS. Contractions hurtttttt. I got the epidural at 5CM because I wasn’t progressing any father than that. My body wouldn’t let me. After I got the epidural I had her in less than two hours..... pushing was a breeze compared to the contractions lol I was up and moving around 2 hours after I gave birth. Honestly I wish I would’ve gotten the epidural sooner

Oh my lanta it hurts! I was determined to be natural my 3 induction. I made it almost to a 7 and I just couldn't do it anymore. I will not be attempting that again.

I was induced and got my epidural right away, I felt nothing. If you decide to get an epidural I say get it as soon as possible

I have seen a lot of women say it does hurt much worse with pitocin contractions. I was induced with my first, I don't feel contractions, and I still would not opt to go in unmedicated.

I've been induced with all 5 of mine I tend to stop at 3cm even with hardcore contractions. My first I didn't feel contractions as she was posterior and my back pain ruled them out. My second went pretty smooth he came out at 9 pound 14
I've had all these bubs with just the gas. As natural as I will get I think.
Contractions were bearable except my 3rd which was a 2.5 hr labour the only reason I struggled was I couldn't regroup myself as the contractions just smashed me. I think if it's a quick labour you notice them more but if it's around 4 hours it doesn't tickle but your body can handle it

I was induced at 39w because of gestational hypertension/ preeclampsia  I opted for gas for my contractions which only help a little when it came time to push I was completely unmedicated. This was my first baby so cant say if the pain was worse than naturally going into labor. It hurt but was bearable however everyone had very different pain management

Being induced is harder not going to lie. You’re given medicine that puts your body in labor rather than your body doing it naturally. But a lot of births these days are done by inducing. Everything will be fine. You’re not any less of a mama if you get pain meds! A lot of moms would love to go all natural and medicine free but you also want to be comfortable and not miserable the whole time.
