Disappointed

I am so disappointed that I have been given an induction date. I know I should be happy that there is an endpoint and our baby boy will be here soon. But I want an all natural birth and believe that baby comes when he is ready. However I understand the dangers of going past 42 weeks. My induction date will be at 41 + 4 days due to 42 weeks being on a Sunday and my doctor not doing “elective inductions” on the weekend. I assure you I am not choosing the induction 😑

Is this an appropriate time for an induction? Just wondering about those who are also waiting as long as possible. How far is your doctor/midwife letting you go? My doctor is saying that 41+4 is the right time due to an induction possibly taking a long time.
