Baby ear piercing age?

NO NASTY COMMENTS! I'm her mom it's my choice to do it I don't wanna hear how that makes me a bad mom for doing it. 
At what age did you pierce you little princess ears??

I got my both my girls done at 6 months. It was over and done with in 2 mins! Quick and easy they only cry for a second and don’t even realize them after :) never had any problems!

I have 3 girls. My oldest (she's now 16) I got hers done at 6 weeks. My second and last girl got there done at 3 months only because they changed age they'd do it. The last 2 girls are 9 almost 10 and 20 months.

Some places don't do it until baby is past 9 months and some won't do it till a year old. If they do it before then (unless it's your pediatrician) I wouldn't trust them. Personally I don't see anything wrong with piercing babies ears as they literally only have pain in the moment and forget about it. But I also had mine done as a baby at 1 year old. I don't really wear earrings because I'm sensitive but it's still nice having the option.

I’d do it after 6 months and take her to a professional piercer. I wanted to do it with my son but his sensory disorder got in the way lol

I would definitely wait until a reputable tattoo/piercing shop could do them and not some person in a mall kiosk or somewhere with a piercing gun. The person will be a professional, the hollow needle used is much less painful than a blunt stud being forced through the ear, there is a lower risk for problems like infection, tissue damage, or a metal reaction when done properly with a hollow needle and they will be SO much more symmetrical. Piercing is an art and should be done by those trained specifically to do so, I hate that mine were done as an infant with a piercing gun because they are uneven as are my second holes from getting them done when I was ~10 at Claire's 😟

Had my daughter’s done at 5 months. She never touched them, she won’t remember the pain and seeing as my husband and I have both had our ears pierced we figured she would end up wanting her done. Especially if she’s anything like me :P
