Baby shower?

Its early but when is everyone planning to have their baby showers? I'm due Aug 22nd but with other circumstances I want to have my baby shower in may, is that too early?

Typically they’re held a month or two before your due date, or shortly thereafter the birth. I had both of mine around 6 weeks before my due date. Either way, pretty much anything goes these days! Do whatever your comfortable with :)

I’m due August 18 and I’m think mid May just so I can have time to wash everything and pull off all tags and I’m always on the run so I need to start as soon as I can

This baby idk if I'm having a baby shower/meet the baby or diapers party. We basically have everything for baby. 
 I think we are leaning towards meet the baby in september. 
Our things needed is double stroller and crib mattress.

During June/July school holidays, I teach in a rural school, and family and friends live 8 hours away. At this stage I’ll travel down there for a baby shower.

I'm gunna have one in May when I'm just over 6 months...that way of there are any vouchers or money gifts..I can use this to pay for baby stuff. And if there are any baby gifts then I know that I won't need to buy it myself.

I'm due Aug. 1st. But I'm doing it June 2nd on my birthday. 
But I also am traveling 10 hours back to my home town for it so my grandma and family can be there.🤷‍♀️ doctor said if I stay healthy like the baby and I have been I'm all good to do so. But I might go around the end of may.🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
