Laundry help!!!

For Christmas my husband got a pair of white/cream colored sweatpants from his mom that he’s been in love with. I think the fact that his mom gave that to him has made him treasure them more. Anyways, I was washing laundry, I didn’t realize that the sweatpants were balled up mixed with another pair of pants. This load of laundry was Dark laundry. I know I should’ve been more careful and double checked, but I didn’t. I was half trying to calm my two year old who was crying and half trying to hurry up and shove what I was washing in the washing machine. I realized I washed it with the dark laundry when I put it in the dryer and it looked darker grayish !!!! 😭😭 is there any way to fix it?? My husband is going to be so upset that I ruined his sweatpants. Does anyone know of a way to get the color out???
