If you didn’t post a pic of your bump on social media can you share why?

I’m having a hard time deciding to post on Facebook or not, superstitious reasons ... 
I need to stop thinking these things, like someone’s gonna put bad juju on me or new baby. Is that even possible? Idk. Advice please?

Because social media isn’t that important to me lol so I never posted anything beyond my announcement

The only thing I’ve posted with my last two is the gender reveal. I don’t like posting about me being pregnant.

I didn't post anything on social media. No pregnancy announcement, bump photos or gender reveal.
I oh sent things to people who asked. Ie once I knew the gender I only told people who asked if I knew ect, just couldn't be bothered with posting everything haha 😊

I didn’t really think about it at first. I am a nurse though and have TONS of patients and coworkers who have I have gotten to go through difficult times with (cancer patients) and when I did they were THRILLED.  Some of them are in the hospital and can’t see their own families due to distance so it reminded me how FB an he used to build extra relationships for those who can’t leave the hospital ❤️

I have posted only a twice. Pregnancy announcement and gender. Both posts were for family since we live far away and not able to see everyone often. I plan to only post 1 more when baby arrives. I am limiting my post out of sensitivity to those who are struggling with fertility and miscarriage. I know how saddening it was to see a million pregnancy post on my newsfeed while trying to conceive and people really could care less on baby being the size of whatever fruit. I do share those details via text with family that are involved. But yes main reason for not posting is not to blow up newsfeeds and be sensitive to others situations
