100% up to you. Everyone is there to find out and support you regardless. It’s exciting regardless, but I do think the best part as a guest is seeing the mom and dads reaction. 🙂

I think it really comes down to what you and your significant other want. If its important you know before others (which it sounds like thats the case) then go ahead and find out the gender with your man. Doesnt mean it cant still be a surprise for your loved ones at the party. This is your guys baby and if its importnant to know the gender first then find out!

I’m not having a gender reveal party but I’m having gender scan 28 th February and I’m not telling my fiancé till his birthday weekend which will be 8/9 March I’m going to try and find a nice way to Announce it’s our last child so I wanted to do this way

I didn’t do a reveal with my first but this is our last baby so I figured I’d make it fun! We did a board with balloons and filled them all with confetti when we got our ultrasound done we filled up two balloons one with pink confetti and one with blue and marked them with a sticky note and put them in separate bags. After the ultrasound we had the technician take off the sticky note and give us the correct balloon. We mixed it with the rest of our balloons (filled with gold confetti) and we put them on a board. We then got darts and tried hitting it. Everyone at the gender reveal was shocked and it was a true surprise to everyone. I wish I would have done this with my first. It was such a blast. I recommend keeping it a surprise! But just my experience. I was completely shocked and had to look at the ultrasound after we found out😂😂😂

Ultimately it is up to you, but let me tell you it is kinda awkward knowing before everyone else. We chose to pop a balloon stuffed with powder. Looking back at the reveal footage, my face had no expression simply because I already knew 😂 kinda ruined the video, but thankfully they captured my family’s reaction as well

I loved that mine and my husband's reaction was recorded and we were surprised together. Special moment for us. But it just depends on you as a couple what you want. You 2 decide what makes it special for you! I might try to convince my husband that the next baby we keep secret until we know the gender and do a gender reveal as our pregnancy announcement lol but who knows when that happens, we will see!
