Prenatal when TTC Question!

So my doctor told me to start a prenatal since my boyfriend & I are trying to conceive. I ordered the Smarty Pants brand.

I know you’re supposed to take them when TTC but I also read high amounts could do more harmful than good when not pregnant. I have PCOS so what if I don’t get pregnant in the next couple of months?

Sorry for the possible stupid question! Lol I was curious!

Edit to add: Just tried them & they’re ok... Does anybody take prenatal pills? Do they have a bad taste? Not sure if I can handle taking 6 of these a day!😫😫
