My doctor diagnosed me with pcos about a year & a half ago. I started having irregular periods my senior year of high school. &I started to notice some thinning in my hair back then. I was 18 now I’m almost 24 and my hair just on the top of my head is so thin you can see through it. I’ve visited a dermatologist &he gave me steroids to try but I haven’t been able to keep up with the routine. Never in my life have I felt ugly. &now I am starting to. I’m a barber/ hairstylist losing her hair. I don’t let it get me so down. But it does bother me. Has anyone else gone through this &is there anything else I can do to help.
