How to stop it?

My LO basically used my breast as a dummy,. How can I break that habit for bedtimes and through the night? She will only go to sleep while on the breast as a comforter.. so it’s pretty impossible for my partner to put her to bed as she just wants the breast.. she’s 9weeks coming up 10.

Mine does too. He will not use pacifiers to go to sleep/spits them out as if offended so I remove my boob if it’s going forever with no drinking and burp then lay him down. I pat him on his bum/back laying him in his side if he stirs then lay him flat on back when he’s out (if he’s having rough night I repeat the side patting and do a shooshing noise. Babies tend to fall asleep quicker on their sides and shooshing instinctively reminds them of the womb.

My son does this exact same thing. It’s frustrating. And he won’t take a pacifier, I’ve tried several different kinds.

I switch to a pacifier once I figure out he was using me as a pacifier lol he doesn’t suck on the pacifier for long but he will take it for soothing purposes . But eventually he spits it out .

Tickle her toes or something to wake her up. Have you tried as soon as she starts soothing to switch in a paci??
