Got a buggy today!

For free! There's a place near where I live that's a pregnancy advice center, that also provides things for babies. I went in yesterday to ask if they ever get buggy boards, and they asked what buggy I had to attach it to. I said that I was planning on looking at some this weekend. One of the staff members immediately offered me her old buggy (Mothercare Mychoice 4 wheeler in red), as she no longer has any use for it and she was going to donate it to the center anyway. I initially refused, because there's likely to be someone out there that needs it more, and they told me it wasn't a problem because they often get buggys in anyway, and there's no point in spending ridiculous amounts of money when I could get one for free. I was really overwhelmed, because although my partner does work, he's recently had his shifts cut, so money has been a little tight recently. As soon as my son starts growing out of things, I was planning to donating them to the center anyway because it's the closest place to me that helps parents in need, and I will be sending my older sons stroller down, but this just set my decision in stone.

UPDATE: May have to return it 😔 With the stairs I have to get up to get to my front door, it's not exactly practical. If there was more space downstairs it wouldn't be a problem, but there isn't the space to take the carrycot/pram seat off, to fold the buggy up to get it upstairs. And that wasn't even with a newborn in it 😔 My older child couldn't even get past it to start walking up the stairs ahead of me...
