It’s been 4 weeks since my miscarriage & still no period. We have already started TTC right away. When should I take pregnancy test as I don’t know when I ovulate / will get my period?

I had a miscarriage on dec 11th and tested positive exactly 4 weeks after before even getting my period. Right now I’m 5 weeks 2 days.

I miscarried 5 weeks ago tests negative 1 week later and been trying straight away
I'm now 4 days late so when i think I should of had AF but tested a handful of times and got bfn 😥 but I will test again in couple of days if af doesn't arrive xx

How many weeks were you when you had your loss? I’m 23 days post MC and still getting slight positives. I got the cheapies to test every day...last week my hcg was 50. I don’t feel like I’ve ovulated yet. I hate not knowing where my body is!

Honestly it really depends on your lifestyle and how you feel about negative tests. My personal experience was that I didn't get my first period for 7.5 weeks, but I didn't try that cycle. If you are someone who can't stand to see negative tests, then I would wait another 2 weeks (my doctor had said most women get theirs back between 4-6 weeks). However, if you are someone who drinks or other behavior you wouldn't do if you knew you were pregnant, then you may be better off testing so that you know to stop in case you do get a positive test. Also, I highly recommend buying the cheap strips tests on Amazon if you are going to start testing, because you may go through a lot of them!
