Scared to ask Doctor

Hey, I need advice!!

I see a Nurse Practitioner, & she told me that I need to do a Pap smear. The problem is, I have sore on my down there area. Everytime I go to the doctor they test me for Chlamydia & Gonorrhoeae and ive tested negative. ( I also tested negative for Hep b,c & HIV). I don’t want the doctor to see my sore while doing a papsmear (embarrassing) or catch something from doing the papsmear.

I’m just really scared that I have a STD or a STI, I want to call the clinic and see a gynecologist about this but over the phone they ask me what am I setting up an appointment for and I honestly don’t know what to say with out being embarrassed.

Please help me come up with something!
