High sex drive a problem ?

So i never thought I’d be asking for advice on this but I’m at a loss. My boyfriend and i have been off n on for almost 2 years. Long story behind it but we can’t seem to stay away from eachother. We have agreed to be serious now .. as of Sept. ( we are both older, 28 & 30 just FYI) We both love to have sex together. We have great chemistry. But the problem is now that we live together the sex is becoming a problem. I have a high sex drive .. he does but not like mine. It seems my need for sex .. asking for it .. talking about it .. turns him off. I have never been with someone who gets turned off by me wanting it but ok 🤷🏼‍♀️. He believes he is the “man” and he should be the one begging / asking for it. I guess this is all about him feeling “manly”. I’m at a loss on how to feel about it. Do i just control myself and not be the sexual person i am?! We both really love eachother but this is a new issue for the both of us.
