I really need some advice/tips on what to do. My daughter is 2, and Sometimes she gets really bad diaper rashes, she’s had one lately due to her being sick. I use Maalox and Aquaphor for her rashes and it’s the only thing that helps. Though it does help. Well I just started using it again and her rash is pretty much cleared up. Well since she got the rash ANYTIME she goes In her diaper it’s a full on fight for me to change her. And I mean like a huge thing, she will scream at the top of her lungs, clench her legs together so tight that I can’t even get to it, or she runs. I’ve tried asking nicely, I’ve tried smacking her butt (I’m not a big fan of it) and I never really smack her butt hard which probably has no use but at times it needs to be done, I have tried anything and everything I can think of. But it gets to the point where I’m just like ok let’s go get in the bath and rinse it off and so she thinks anytime she goes that she just gets to take a bath, which is totally wrong on my part because I’m giving in to her but I have no clue what to do. She doesn’t do this for my aunt who watches her while I’m working or anyone else, just me. And I know that it’s probably not the best feeling for her obviously but I mean clearly it has to be done. I’m not sure if I’m doing it wrong, or if there’s something else I could try, or if anyone else has had this problem. It’s been going on for almost a month and I am SICK of it. So any advice or tips you have I would SO VERY much appreciate it!! Thank you
