Am I broken?

Sooo this might be a kinda weird and pointless but I truly do think I’m broken. I am 15 years old, almost 16 and I never have the urge to want to have sex. I’m a sophomore and I’m currently friends with a lot of juniors. They always talk about how much they love sex and give their juicy stories and I just feel so weird Bc I never really feel like having sex or anything like that. Ik it might sound silly but I really need some advice :(

I see a lot of comments saying you might just not be interested yet, which is very very normal. don't let the hyper-sexualization of young teens/the general pressure to be sexually active influence you. but another thing to consider is you could be asexual, which is also very normal and is nothing to feel ashamed of. I'd recommend you read up on asexuality (on both official sources and forums/online communities like here) and see if you identify with what you read.

I wasn’t interested in it at all until even after I was married. I don’t k ow what it is, hormone levels or something. I never had it checked out. I just never cared for it. Having sexual to enjoy it is really a mental thing as well. You have to mentally think things are turning you on, or think of things that do turn you on in order to enjoy it. The act itself isn’t enjoyable if your heads not there. Give yourself some time. Maybe you’ll change and want it with someone, or maybe you won’t. I have a friend who is 28 years old and she has only done it once in her life. She’s just not interested. On that point, she’s wildly happy and a great person to be around. Don’t worry about being like everyone else. You do you, and that is the best thing you could do.

Completely normal. I was not interested in sex until I was about 22 and actually met a guy I really liked. I always hung out with guys in high school but i just didn’t have the urge 🤷🏼‍♀️

This is completely normal! Sometimes, people do things ahead their time. Maybe because friends keep teasing them, or putting pressure. But don't let this go to your head, do it when you feel you're ready, when you feel the need to. Everyone is different, just because everyone is doing it, doesn't mean you have to do it too! I know what you mean I feel so broken sometimes. I’ve been sexually assaulted numerous times so I’m very sensitive when it comes to being sexual. I just have a very low sex drive. I think that it’s normal and depends on your hormones. If you want a higher sex drive try exercising more and eating foods higher in fats. But honestly I think it’s okay you’re only 16 if you want to explore your sexuality that’s okay! If you don’t want to be sexually active that’s okay too!! Whatever makes you comfortable love!

First off it’s different for everyone. Also it’s high school. That’s all they talk about so don’t feel bad. It will be different in ten years trust me. 
And secondly that’s okay! I wish I waited I really do. So hey if you don’t have a desire that’s fine! But before you go rushing into anything try by yourself? Find what you like then you can please others. 
Question: are you on any type of birth control? For me the depo shot really reduced my sex appeal. I’m normal now but just curious. Or are you stressed out? Honestly it could be anything it doesn’t mean you’re broken (: you’ll figure it out I promise ❤️
