Progesterone Supplements

My doctor just called in a prescription for 400mg of progesterone 2x daily. My ? Is when is the best time to take the pills?

I had my progesterone checked 2 weeks ago when I was 5 weeks and it was 9.5

I had an ultrasound last Friday and baby was measuring perfectly and heartbeat was 129. I go back in 4 weeks for another ultrasound and appointment. I asked her about taking supplements just since my #s have been low the past 3 medicated cycles of ttc. She finally agreed to give me the progesterone. Just want to hear other ladies experiences with taking progesterone supplements.
