Has anyone introduced a blanket yet?

My son is 15 months and he’s been sleeping with 2 blankets since he was 12 months. They’re just comfort blankets that my son can cuddle with, but they don’t keep him warm because he still moves around too much to keep a blanket on him. He still requires a sleep sack for warmth.

We’ve thought about it, but our son rolls around too much, and tends to get hot when he sleeps.  He sleeps great through the night, so I guess we’ll wait a while longer. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My LO loves his blanket!! I started by having it out in the living room during playtime and he rolled around with it and loved on it and dragged it along with him. Made me more comfortable watching him. It has been so helpful to comfort him since we took the pacifier away! He adores it and snuggles it so sweetly. He’s getting really good at kicking it off when he’s hot and rolling up in it when he’s cold. This was at 12 months when I first introduced it 💙💙💙 he wrapped himself up, not me!

My child has been sleeping with a blanket since she was teeny tiny lol she loves super soft blankets, I think you’re safe to give your kiddo one, if itsnot for warmth then for cuddles

I introduced a blanket as soon as she could roll over as per her doctor. I think you’re more than safe

My son doesn't understand blankets lol. He sleeps through the night and is comfortable. He does move a lot during his sleep so I don't think a blanket would serve any purpose for him.

We’ve given her a blanket and soft toys in her crib since she was about 10 months. She kicks the blanket off most of the time but it’s soft and something for her to feel comforted.

My daughter sleeps with 2 small blankets (mostly for cuddling) and like 3 stuffed animal cats. She insists on bringing her “tats” to bed with her every night. 
She tosses and turns enough that the blankets don’t stay on her, but she likes to hold them close.

My daughter loves her blankets and we have to take them around everywhere because they are her comfort item 😍😍
