Jumperoos/Activity Centers 🦘
At my son’s 4 month appointment, they said that as long as he has good head control he can use his jumper. So... we used it.
Fast forward to today at his 6 month appointment. Different nurse but same practice and doctor. They tell me to make sure I am not using a jumper!
Obviously I tell them that last time I was told it was fine and even good for leg muscle development, and today’s nurse said that no, it is bad for their spine and I shouldn’t use it.
I am at a loss. I did some research and from what I have found it looks like he just shouldn’t use it for “extended periods of time.” Which I would say he spends 10-15 minutes a day in it maximum.
I am torn because he loves the jumperoo.
