Do you have to go to the doctor for a miscarriage?

I’ve never had a miscarriage before. This is my second pregnancy, I am 4 weeks and 3 days. It was confirmed through a blood test from my doctor on Friday, my levels were 11. I had gotten positive FRERs at home, even on Friday. Now I’m bleeding and getting negative tests with nasty cramps. Should I go to a doctor even if I’m pretty sure it’s a miscarriage? 😕

I personally wouldn’t at 4w3d. It’s a chemical pregnancy. Most people don’t even know they are pregnant at that point and treat it as a regular period.

I had a miscarriage in June last year, never saw a doctor, and I'm fine. I think as long as the bleeding and cramping aren't excessive and goes away after about a week, you should be fine.

I worked in an OB office during my two miscarriages (5 & 6 weeks) and the doctor said that as long as your body is bleeding/passing everything naturally there’s nothing medically that they can/need to do. Also anything over 5 is considered pregnant but at only 11 in my opinion you’ll pass everything naturally and like a period. I’m so sorry for your loss 👼🏻💛

If your filling a pad every hour for a couple hours then go, otherwise you don’t really need to considering it’s very early.  It will likely be like a normal period or maybe a bit heavier than a normal period.
