AM I OKAY?! 5 weeks pregnant

Question

So i was in the shower and stuck my middle finger inside of me and when i took it out there was small amount of blood like very little on my nail ... i immediately freaked out and hopped out the shower. I the grabbed a cotton swab and inserted in me to check if there was more blood and there wasn’t like at all .. i put my finger back in and now nothing at all ... what was that and why? Should i be worried??

Light spotting is common, it could be old blood that hadn't passed out yet, implantation blood, or sometimes women bleed after sex etc and it's the uterus protecting the baby but as long as you don't have a lot of bright red blood and cramping you should be fine, but if your worried call your midwife/doctor.

I’m in the same boat. I read is normal. ☺️ as long as it doesn’t turn bright red and intense cramps

If you aren’t bleeding a lot then you should be fine. I think very light spotting is normal

I had the same thing this morning. I went to the toilet and wiped red blood and had some blood on my pad (I wear a pad because I’m using progesterone pessaries). I ran out of work that moment straight home to bed. 
I was so worried and still am but haven’t had any more red blood today. I’m waiting for blood test results this afternoon and have an ultrasound in 3 days. I’m trying to keep calm, it sounds like some spotting is quite normal
