First fertility appointment soon. What should I expect?

Hey y’all I have my first appointment with a fertility doctor in 2 weeks. What should I expect on the initial visit? It’s 450$ but they didn’t tell me what all that includes. I’ve had 2 failed rounds with clomid. Been ttc for a year. Any input or personal experiences I would much appreciate 🥰

A consultation and a transvaginal exam. They will go over your medical history and then talk with you about your options. My last one only took about an hour the first one took about an hour and a half. They are super easy and no biggie. Mainly just talking and explaining the different reasons for infertility, and letting you know the types of test you and your partner will need to do.

I have one in a few weeks and it's  $700. 😣 They told me my husband would do another semen analysis, I would do a transvaginal ultrasound, the doctor would review my previous tests and ask a ton of questions. Then, she will explain our options, we'll develop a plan, and then meet with a financial counselor to discuss payment plans. They told me to plan to be there for 3-4 hours and to bring snacks haha.
