I just needed to share this with someone!

This evening there was a post on HONY (Humans of New York) that hot me in my feels. This man talked about how amazing his grandma was, and Friday marks a year without mine.

So I made this simple comment:

I have this tattoo in honor of my grandma, she had eight children; my mom was the baby. I had great parents growing up but she still was so amazing. Each year she would write a $25 check for each grandchild to get a new pair of shoes for school. She always did so much. The writing is from a card she wrote me for my birthday six months before she passed, and the last year of her life I was her caregiver during the day and my mom was during the night. Every day I would load my little man up after his big brother left for school and we would go take care of her. That was the most precious time. My son had such a bond with her and she would tell everyone I became her best friend. It was amazing.

I could have gone in depth, but I just wanted to show that the post hit me in the feels.

But I never expected the response I have gotten to my comment!

There really are so many supportive people there. 😓❤️
