Freaking out

At my last appointment I was 30weeks5days and he was breech. And they said if he doesn’t turn by my appointment this Friday (32weeks5days) then they will start making a plan to turn him and then induce me or schedule a c section. I don’t want a c section in no way shape or form, my first child is special needs and i just cannot handle a c section. Has anyone had a doctor turn your baby before then induce you? And has anyone had a c section that can tell me about the recovery process? I know it’s rough 😭
