Pregnancy Test?

Hey ladies so i have a quick, i been on a new birth control for about 5 months now and last month i noticed just a little that i was gaining weight and i freaked out and thought i was pregnant. I have a love and hate relationship with the BC i am on now Lo Loestrin Fe. I feel myself gaining a little bit more weight and i honestly hate it. I feel so disgusted with myself i just feel fat. I am also moody, breast tenderness, bloated, water retention, tired just not myself really on this BC. I did start my period last Saturday that lasted 2 days which i like about Lo Loestrin Fe because my period are only 2-3 days long. Should i take a pregnancy test? Due to the fact that i feel myself gaining a little weight and eating unhealthy things.
