Bottles and breast pump?!

Question

This might be a totally dumb question. I mean it is but I just kinda wanna know what everyone else is doing! So I want to use dr brown bottles and I’m gonna pump but bottle feed. Obviously the bottles to the breast pump are different, so do I just pour what I pump in those into a dr brown bottle? Or do the bottles fit on the breast pump? Lol 😆 I don’t have any bottles yet to try it out. 🤦🏼‍♀️ please share your breast feeding/ pumping techniques! :)

My first I had a hospital medela pump, he was a preemie and the hospital let me borrow it for 3 months. I made so much milk I used the 8oz Dr brown bottles on it and they fit fine. Then my insurance gave me the Ameda pump and they also fit that one. I would have to pour it in bags cause I’d freeze what he wouldn’t eat.

From what I understand, you can use whatever pump you like and pour it into whatever bottle your baby likes. Someone correct me if I’m wrong! FTM due in March. I have a Medela pump and I have heard dr brown, tommee tippee, como tomo, philips avent, munchkin latch, and smilo are all bottles people love. I know that’s a lot but everyone says every baby is different.

Just depends on the bottle and pump brand. I had medala but used nuk or avent bottles with my first. I would either pump into medala's and pour into the bottle, pour into a storage bag or just the connection to pump right into the bag. Just depends on what you find easiest. 
And you probably already know but just because you want to use dr brown doesn't mean baby will necessarily want to. I would gave another one or two different styles as back ups in case.

That’s what I did. Had a medela pump but used tommee tippee bottles. So I just poured it from the Medea bottle attached to the pump into the other bottle. Some pumps have adapters for other bottles otherwise. Just depends on the brand
