For those of you preggo in snowy climates...
I live in the US in the Midwest...I know it’s not Canada or even the Northern states so we don’t get it near as bad as some, but we’ve had a few icy/snowy days where I’m nervous to drive. I drive a pretty small, light weight car that is not intended to be driven in a lot of snow (it’s electric so I don’t have to pay for gas, though). I’ve made the decision to drive to work each time but the drive is terrifying and I’m so stressed by the time I get to work that I’m not sure it’s worth it. My coworkers are the types to say, oh the roads were fine, I don’t see the problem. And I feel like saying...the problem is that I have a giant baby belly that I’m terrified will get crushed if I’m in an accident. On the icy drive this morning, I think I decided that will be my last bad road conditions drive for this pregnancy. Have any of the rest of you been more cautious about bad weather driving since your bump has gotten gigantic...or am I being a baby?
