“Natural” make up

Y’all. It’s so frustrating find to find a good quality NATURAL make up bran with all this false advertising going on. Sephora has a “clean beauty products” section online and in store. Now. This section may be slightly better but it’s still not clean or natural.

Anyway. I was in the store and asking if the carried a certain product, which they no longer do. So I asked if she could point me into the direction of a natural brand they carry that would have something similar. She gave me suggestions and I said that they weren’t actually natural and I might just have to look elsewhere unfortunately. She was shocked. She didn’t even realize the products she was referring to weren’t even natural.

So many companies now a day “green wash” themselves.

So I’m curious. If you’re wanting a more natural or completely natural alternative, do you take time to read the ingredients to know for sure or just solely trust that the company is being honest? I honestly feel like a freak for taking time to read each thing I buy. Apparently it’s not that common🤔
