Hang in there! I had gestational diabetes with my first pregnancy and it was really tough and time consuming to manage. It’s hard to check your sugars all the time and not be able to eat what you want to, especially when you have intense cravings. It’s all worth it for a healthy baby. You can do this!

I get where you’re coming from. I’m a type 1 diabetic and controlling my blood sugars has been a whole new ball game since I found out I’m pregnant. My suggestions are to find low carb snacks you like - my go tos have been cheese slices, cashews and seaweed chips (they’re actually alright haha). Also just a weird tip that they sometimes don’t tell women with gestational diabetes - try testing along the side of your fingers rather than the pads then it doesn’t hurt as much when you’re doing day-to-day things.

It’s so difficult. Just remember that you’re doing the best you can so try to go easy on yourself - you’re amazing!!

You're doing such a good job mama! Hang in there. You've got this. Pregnancy is a labor of love and you gotta love this little sweet pea a bit extra. Trust me the complications are far worse than this. This little one is only reminding you to save your life along with theirs.

I can’t even imagine. I had gestational diabetes pretty badly during my last pregnancy and I said all the time, how do diabetics do this all the time?!?! Good luck!
