Yesterday I went to get my 1st iron infusion done and I was already nervous because I never had to get that before, but I remained calm I was sitting for about 10-15mins and I felt sharp pains shooting up my back my spin was hurting so bad but I automatically assumed the baby was in my back so I asked my bf to rub my back and then my chest start hurting and getting tight next thing I knew I couldn’t breathe I’m sitting there saying something isn’t right , I started breaking out in hives my arm was very itchy and my throat felt like very dry and felt like I had something stuck , so he jumps up and try’s to comfort me and the nurses runs over because at this point I’m crying because I’m on so much pain they had to stop the meds and hurry and follow protocol to an allergic reaction what are the odds of that I thought it was a simple little process, now scared to go back and try a new one but I know I have to for my health Nd the baby’s also , has anyone ever experience this before
