TTC and taking a cruise

My husband and I are TTC. We have a cruise scheduled for Mexico at the end of April/beginning of May. What should we do? Obviously the Zika virus is my main concern. We debated rescheduling the cruise and going to the Bahamas instead (it has been a Zika free area for about a year). Or we talked about maybe just waiting on trying to conceive until after we get back, however, the CDC and my doctors office recommends waiting at least 3 months after returning from Mexico before TTC. I need some opinions or personal stories here. TIA!
