If you are actually 7 weeks along then yes. Since it’s so early you may be barely 6 weeks so it’s possible you wouldn’t be far enough along to hear a heartbeat then

You CAN hear the heart beat but sometimes not until the next ultrasound so don’t worry too much if you don’t :)

With my daughter at the 8 week scan you could still see her yolk sac. 
They told me I was 6 weeks and to come back at 8 weeks. 
When I went back at “8 weeks” she was measuring 10 weeks and we heard her heart beat. 
I knew my ovulation date and I knew i was 8 weeks that first appointment. 
Kinda off topic but I thought I’d share incase you don’t hear the heart beat the first appointment.
